Performance characteristics:

In the paper industry, oxidized starch is mainly used as coating adhesive and surface sizing agent.

2. The oxidized starch has white color, good paste stability, low viscosity, weak retrogradation, strong adhesion, good film forming and low price.

3. According to the different requirements of papermaking, a series of products with different viscosity can be made, and it can also be compounded with chemical raw materials such as PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) for surface sizing to increase film-forming properties and improve the smoothness and strength of the paper surface.

Method of use:

1. Under constant stirring, add starch into cold water at a concentration of 5-10%, stir evenly, then add steam or interlayer, heat to above 90 degrees, keep warm for 20-30 minutes, add and dilute to the required concentration (generally 4-8%), and apply to surface sizing at 60-70 degrees.

2. Sizing amount: 1-4% (absolute dry paper)

3. If mixed with PVA and CMC, it is added during the dilution process after starch gelatinization.
